- Responsibility - Taking ownership of your learning
- Relationships - Positive connections with peers and teachers
- Identified Goals - Knowing what you're aiming to learn
- Trust - Feeling safe to take risks and explore ideas
- Active Learning - Engaging with the material, not just passively absorbing it
- Empowerment - Having the authority and confidence to make choices
- Collaboration - Working together with others
- Respect - Treating everyone with consideration
- Reflection - Thinking back on your learning experience
- Accountability - Being answerable for your work
- Autonomy - Having independence in your learning
- Choice - Having options and control over your learning path
- Reflection: Briefly consider why each of these elements is important for Learner-Led Learning. Choose one element you feel you could improve on and brainstorm some strategies to do so.
